For those of you that I personally chat with daily. Please don't feel that I am neglecting you. I've just been away from my computer. Sort of. I click on youtube videos and listen while doing things in the house.
Things meaning my ultimate cat castle. That I have been thinking about, collecting pieces for, and staring at for months. The final (that's not the right word, because it will never be final) piece was given to me to inspire me to start this project.
The right amount of different shaped boxes that frame the window. The comfy pillows to sleep on when the sun shines through said window. The hemp rope for sharpening the nails to perfection. The right amount of garland to make them feel they are in a rain forest. The perfect amount of tree branches found after a storm to make them feel as though they are outside.
Then to put it all together is just a mission of note. To cut the holes into the boxes so they can hide or play. To tape the boxes so they don't fall when they do play hide and seek.
And then to decide which window to put this masterpiece, was the biggest decision. I wanted it in the living room, which is where I spend most of my waking time and can watch them enjoy it. But the living room windows are bigger than the bedroom windows. So it is back to the poop room. Which makes sense. If I am going to designate an entire room to my pets, the castle belongs in there. mormon items to wear of the prom situation
I've still got a lot of work to do before it is finished. But I've started it. And that has kept me occupied. If my cats ignore my masterpiece, I will kill them and replace them with more grateful cats....just kidding. Seriously, just kidding.
At any rate, to my facebook peeps. I'm here. I'm fine. I'm not ignoring you on purpose. Just busy.
